Ensemble Modern\u2019s master class \u201cepoche_f international\u201d will be featured at the F\u00b0LAB Festival. Each year, more than 20 young prize winners \u2013 aged 14\u201324 \u2013 from national and international youth music competitions are given the opportunity to further their development in the field of contemporary music. To this end, they spend a week at the Lower Saxony State Music Academy in Wolfenb\u00fcttel working with the musicians of the Ensemble Modern, who, as instructors, share their experience in the field of contemporary music with them. <\/p>\n
Among other works, the young talents will work on pieces by George Benjamin, Anton Webern, and Edgar Var\u00e8se, as well as a conceptual piece by Ensemble Modern pianist Herrmann Kretschmar.
