{"id":622,"date":"2026-04-01T11:51:36","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T09:51:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/neu.frankfurt-lab.de\/anna-lublina\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T11:51:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T09:51:36","slug":"anna-lublina","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/frankfurt-lab.de\/en\/anna-lublina\/","title":{"rendered":"Anna Lublina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Inspired by the card games played between Muslims and Jews on \u201cTahiti Beach\u201d in Casablanca; one of the last spaces where Jews and Muslims connect in Morocco (see Return to Casablanca); Anna Lublina will create a participatory performance game that explores histories of Jewish-Muslim conviviality \u2013 before and after the modern advent of \u201cnation states.\u201d The aim will be to unravel current narratives that pit Jews and Muslims against each other, while creating a playful, participatory space to imagine a post-nation future.<br \/>\nThis research will be guided by questions such as: How can we bring education tools and performance-building tools together? How can we use play as a tool of resistance against reductive political narratives? What are new ways to bring game scores and structures to the stage?  <\/p>\n<p>Anna Lublina is an interdisciplinary performance maker, educator, and dramaturg. As the child of a Soviet Jewish immigrant, they are drawn to diaspora as a creative format and as an anti-nationalist political orientation.
